生态翻译学视角下唐诗英译研究——以许渊冲《唐诗三百首》英译本为例

A Study on the English Translation of Tang Poetry from the Perspective of Eco-Translatology—A Case Study of Xu Yuanchong’s English Translation of 300 Tang Poems

摘要: 作为中华古典诗词的经典选本，《唐诗三百首》在国际文化交流中扮演着日益重要的角色，其中的诗词语言凝练、意境悠远，为其英译带来了许多挑战。本文以胡庚申教授的生态翻译学“三维”转换理论为框架，通过对许渊冲先生《唐诗三百首》英译本的文本分析，系统考察其在语言维、文化维和交际维的适应性选择与转换策略，旨在归纳与提炼唐诗英译的有效方法与技巧，以期为跨文化传播实践提供理论参照，推动中国古典文学与文化的世界性传播与交流。

Abstract: As a representative anthology of classical Chinese poetry, 300 Tang Poems holds growing importance in facilitating international cultural exchanges. The conciseness and profound artistic conception of these poems, however, present considerable challenges in its English translation. Under the guidance of Professor Hu Gengshen’s “Three-dimensional Transformation” theory of Eco-translatology, this paper conducts text analyses of Xu Yuanchong’s English translation of 300 Tang Poems. It systematically examines the adaptive selection and transformation strategies adopted across the linguistic, cultural, and communicative dimensions. The study seeks to summarize and refine effective methods and techniques for translating Tang poetry into English, aiming to provide theoretical reference for cross-cultural communication practices and to further promote the global dissemination and exchange of classical Chinese literature and culture.
