贾平凹小说英译翻译策略对比研究
A Comparative Study of Translation Strategies in English Translations of Jia Pingwa’s Novels
摘要: 贾平凹小说英译起始时间早，数量丰富，同时大量译作贯穿中国新时期以来各个时期多个方面，一定程度上折射出不同时期中国文学外译大致图谱和变化发展。贾平凹小说的英译按照路径可分为“译入”和“译出”，不同的路径下英译作品的翻译策略及其背后的原因迥异。文章以1978~2018年间贾平凹小说英译作品为研究对象，通过对两种路径下作品翻译策略选择背后的社会文化因素进行对比分析，为中国文学走向海外提供借鉴和参考。
Abstract: The English translations of Jia Pingwa’s novels began early and are numerous, spanning various periods and aspects of Chinese literature since the New Era, reflecting to some extent the general landscape and development of Chinese literary translations abroad. The English translations of Jia Pingwa’s novels can be divided into “translation into” and “translation out,” with significantly different translation strategies and underlying reasons under these different paths. This article focuses on the English translations of Jia Pingwa’s novels from 1978 to 2018, comparing and analyzing the socio-cultural factors behind the choice of translation strategies under these two paths, providing insights and references for the international dissemination of Chinese literature.
