Abstract: Objective: To evaluate the effect of integrated reminiscence and art intervention on elderly people with subjective cognitive decline in the community. Method: 42 elderly individuals with subjective cognitive decline were divided into a control group and an intervention group, with 21 cases in each group, based on their residential community. The control group participated in online health knowledge education, while the intervention group received an integrated reminiscence and art intervention once a week for a total of six sessions. The MoCA-B, SCD-Q, STT, AVLT-H, MCQ-30, GDS-15, HAMA, and SWLS were used to evaluate the effects before, at, and 6 weeks after the intervention. Result: The intervention group showed greater improvement in cognitive confidence immediately after intervention and cognitive control at 6-week follow-up compared to the control group, with no significant improvement in general cognitive function, memory, mental health, or life satisfaction. Conclusion: The integrated reminiscence and art intervention can improve the cognitive control and cognitive confidence of elderly people with subjective cognitive decline.
