论唐诗中的葡萄意象及其艺术表达手法
On the Grape Imagery in Tang Poetry and Its Artistic Expression Techniques
摘要: 葡萄作为西域传入中原的代表性物产,其传播历程可追溯至西汉汉武帝时期,张骞出使西域将其引入,至唐代经唐太宗时期的二次引进与推广,种植、酿酒技术达至鼎盛,逐步完成从物质物产到文化符号的蜕变。在先唐文学发展中,葡萄意象历经先秦铺垫、汉代萌芽、魏晋发展,为唐诗中的意象表达奠定基础。唐诗题材广博,赋予葡萄意象多元内涵:边塞诗中,葡萄与夜光杯、琵琶等西域元素相融,既是异域风情的标识,又承载着将士豪迈、思乡之情与对战争的批判;都市诗里,葡萄关联宫廷宴饮与市井繁华,是尊贵身份的象征,彰显唐代都市的多元风貌;咏物诗中,诗人通过描摹葡萄形态,借物言志,寄托自身高洁志趣与人生理想。为凸显葡萄意象的丰富内涵与艺术价值,唐代诗人灵活运用比喻与拟人、情景交融、用典等艺术手法,使意象兼具具象美感、情感温度与文化底蕴。唐诗中的葡萄意象,不仅丰富了古典诗歌的意象体系,更折射出唐代开放包容的文化精神。
Abstract: As a representative product introduced to the Central Plains from the Western Regions, the history of the grape’s dissemination can be traced back to the reign of Emperor Wu of the Western Han Dynasty, when Zhang Qian introduced it during his diplomatic mission to the Western Regions. By the Tang Dynasty, following a second introduction and promotion during the reign of Emperor Taizong, cultivation and winemaking techniques reached their peak, gradually transforming the grape from a mere commodity into a cultural symbol. In the development of pre-Tang literature, the imagery of grapes underwent a process of preparation in the Pre-Qin period, germination in the Han Dynasty, and development in the Wei and Jin Dynasties, laying the foundation for its expression in Tang poetry. Tang poetry covered a vast range of themes, endowing the image of the grape with diverse connotations: in frontier poetry, grapes blended with Western Regions elements such as the “night-glow cup” and the pipa, serving not only as a marker of exotic charm but also conveying the soldiers’ heroic spirit, homesickness, and criticism of war; in urban poetry, grapes were associated with court banquets and the bustling streets, symbolizing noble status and highlighting the diverse character of Tang-era cities; In nature poetry, poets depict the form of the grape to express their aspirations, using the object as a vehicle to convey their own noble interests and life ideals. To highlight the rich connotations and artistic value of the grape imagery, Tang poets skillfully employed artistic techniques such as metaphor and personification, the fusion of emotion and scenery, and the use of classical allusions, endowing the imagery with concrete aesthetic appeal, emotional depth, and cultural significance. The image of the grape in Tang poetry not only enriched the imagery system of classical poetry but also reflected the open and inclusive cultural spirit of the Tang Dynasty.
