Correlation Analysis between Myocardial Enzyme Profile and Amputation Rate in Patients with Acute Lower Extremity Ischemia
Abstract: Acute lower limb ischemia (ALLI) is a common and critical emergency in vascular surgery. The core challenge lies in accurately determining limb viability within a limited time window. Early and accurate assessment of muscle viability in the ischemic limb is crucial for formulating limb salvage or amputation strategies. Traditional imaging modalities have limitations in quantifying the extent of skeletal muscle necrosis. This article aims to systematically evaluate the correlation between myocardial enzyme profiles (including creatine kinase [CK], lactate dehydrogenase [LDH], aspartate aminotransferase [AST], etc.) and the severity of limb necrosis and amputation rates in ALLI patients, exploring their potential value in surgical clinical decision-making.
