音乐治疗与养老院老人精神健康——基于倾向得分匹配的实证研究

Music Therapy and Mental Health of the Elderly in Nursing Homes—An Empirical Study Based on Propensity Score Matching

摘要: 研究音乐疗法与养老院老人精神健康之间的联系，是促进积极老龄化和老年人健康发展的重要治疗方法。本文通过开展调研，运用PSM研究方法对音乐治疗是否有助于养老院老年人精神健康进行回归分析。实证结果表明，音乐治疗作为一种新型的非药物治疗方法，在养老院环境中对促进老年人身心健康，降低孤独感、焦虑、抑郁等不良情绪具有积极作用。

Abstract: Exploring the relationship between music therapy and the mental health of the elderly in nursing homes is important for promoting active aging and healthy development of the elderly. Based on a questionnaire survey, this study uses the Propensity Score Matching (PSM) method to conduct regression analysis on whether music therapy contributes to the mental health of elderly residents. The empirical results show that, as a new non-pharmaceutical intervention, music therapy plays a positive role in improving the physical and mental health of the elderly in nursing homes, and reducing negative emotions such as loneliness, anxiety and depression.
