Exploration on the Teaching Reform of the Course “Literature Retrieval and Scientific Paper Writing”

摘要: 《文献检索与科技论文写作》课程是材料科学与工程专业一门重要的专业基础课，对培养学生的信息素养和科学研究能力至关重要。针对该课程长期存在的“重理论、轻实操”的教学问题，课程组引入问题导向式教学模式推进教学改革。具体措施包括：优化理论教学和实践教学学时比例，交叉融合文献检索与论文写作两大教学模块，并建立多元化课程考核评价机制。改革实践表明，学生期末综述中高质量论文引用率、论文撰写的规范性与逻辑性、学生的文献检索能力和科技论文写作水平都有较大提升。

Abstract: The course “Literature Retrieval and Scientific Paper Writing” is an important professional basic course in the major of materials science and engineering, which is crucial for cultivating students’ information literacy and scientific research capabilities. In response to the long-standing teaching problem of “emphasizing theory over practical operation” in this course, the course team introduced a problem-oriented teaching model to promote teaching reform. Specific measures included optimizing the ratio of theoretical to practical teaching hours, integrating the two modules of literature retrieval and paper writing, and establishing a diversified course assessment mechanism. The reform has demonstrated significant improvements in the citation rates of high-quality papers in students’ final literature reviews, the standardization and logical structure of their papers, as well as their literature retrieval skills and scientific paper writing proficiency.
