互动式教学法在急诊医学国际教育师资培训中的实践探索——以参加英语教学比赛为例
Exploration on the Application of Interactive Teaching Methods in Teacher Training for International Education in Emergency Medicine—A Case Study of Participation in English Teaching Competitions
摘要: 随着医学教育国际化进程的加快,提升急诊医学国际教育师资的英语教学能力,已成为高等医学院校面临的一项重要任务。本文基于西南医科大学附属医院急诊医学部的教学实践,以参加英语教学比赛为切入点,探讨互动式教学法在急诊医学国际教育师资培训中的应用。通过组织科室青年教师参与医院及学校层面的英语教学比赛,实现以赛促学、以赛促教、以赛促改,探索提升师资英语水平与互动教学能力的有效途径。实践结果显示,英语教学比赛能有效调动青年教师的学习积极性,促进其对互动式教学法的掌握与运用,推动教学经验的交流与共享,进而提高留学生的课堂教学质量。本文总结了以英语教学比赛为载体开展互动式教学法师资培训的实践经验,分析了实施过程中的成效与不足,为以后急诊医学国际化师资培养提供参考。
Abstract: With the accelerating internationalization of medical education, enhancing the English teaching competence of faculty members involved in international education in emergency medicine has become an important task for higher medical institutions. Based on the teaching practice of the Department of Emergency Medicine at The Affiliated Hospital of Southwest Medical University, this paper takes participation in English teaching competitions as a starting point to explore the application of interactive teaching methods in the training of international educators in emergency medicine. By organizing young faculty members to participate in English teaching competitions at both the hospital and university levels, the department promotes learning, teaching, and instructional reform through competitions, thereby exploring effective approaches to improving teachers’ English proficiency and interactive teaching skills. Practice has shown that English teaching competitions effectively motivate young teachers’ enthusiasm for learning, facilitate their mastery and application of interactive teaching methods, encourage the exchange and sharing of teaching experiences, and ultimately enhance the quality of classroom instruction for international students. This paper summarizes the practical experience of using English teaching competitions as a vehicle for teacher training in interactive teaching methods, analyzes the achievements and shortcomings during implementation, and provides a reference for the future cultivation of internationally oriented emergency medicine educators.
