Investigation into Rehabilitation Specialist Nurses’ Cognition and Demand Regarding Prescriptive Authority

摘要: 目的：调查康复专科护士对护士处方权的认知、态度及需求，为优化康复专科护士工作流程、制定护士处方权相关政策提供依据。方法：采用便利抽样法选取获得中华护理学会康复专科护士资质认证的105名护士为研究对象，采用自设问卷对康复专科护士对护士处方权的认知、态度及需求进行调查。结果：康复专科护士对护士处方权的认知总得分为3.61 ± 1.97；态度总得分为30.98 ± 5.33；需求总得分为32.76 ± 7.12；多元线性回归分析结果显示，性别、学历、职称、是否从事康复护理专职工作、是否授予护士处方权等因素不对康复护士对护士处方权的认知造成影响，三甲医院的康复专科护士对护士处方权的认知较高(P < 0.05)。结论：康复专科护士对护士处方权的认知处于较低水平，但整体对护士处方权的态度较积极，并且对护士处方权有较高的需求。医院及相关部门可借鉴国外的优秀经验，出台相关的法律法规来保障和规范护士处方权的实施，从而简化康复专科护士工作流程，促进护理队伍专业化建设，为患者提供更优质服务。

Abstract: Objective: To investigate the cognition, attitudes, and demands of rehabilitation specialist nurses toward nurse prescribing authority, and to provide a basis for optimizing rehabilitation nursing workflows and formulating policies related to nurse prescribing rights. Methods: A convenience sampling method was employed to select 105 nurses certified as rehabilitation specialists by the Chinese Nursing Association. A self-designed questionnaire was administered to assess their cognition, attitudes, and demands regarding nurse prescribing authority. Results: The total cognition score toward nurse prescribing authority was 3.61 ± 1.97, the attitude score was 30.98 ± 5.33, and the demand score was 32.76 ± 7.12. Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that factors such as gender, educational background, professional title, engagement in full-time rehabilitation nursing roles, and prior authorization of prescribing rights did not significantly influence nurses’ cognition of prescribing authority. However, rehabilitation specialist nurses in tertiary hospitals demonstrated higher levels of cognition (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Rehabilitation specialist nurses exhibit relatively low cognition of nurse prescribing authority, yet maintain generally positive attitudes and express substantial demand for such rights. Hospitals and relevant authorities should draw on international best practices to establish legal regulations that standardize and safeguard the implementation of nurse prescribing authority. This would streamline rehabilitation nursing workflows, enhance the professional development of nursing teams, and ultimately improve patient care quality.
