人机对比视角下李娟散文英译中文化负载词的翻译策略研究

A Study of Translation Strategies for Culture-Loaded Words in English Translations of Li Juan’s Prose: A Human-Machine Comparative Perspective

摘要: 本文以李娟散文集《冬牧场》与《遥远的向日葵地》及其英译本为平行语料，选取哈萨克民族文化词汇、地域民俗文化负载词及自然意象与诗性语言三类共六组代表性例文，系统对比人工译文与DeepSeek机器译文在文化负载词处理上的策略差异。研究发现：人工译者在跨文化背景补偿、文学性词汇的创造性选择及文本整体艺术质量提升方面具有显著优势；DeepSeek在忠实原文句法结构与保证字面精确性方面表现更为稳定。基于两者的互补性差异，本文就人机协同翻译的工作路径提出初步建议，以期为文学翻译实践提供参照。

Abstract: Using the prose collections “Winter Pasture” and “Distant Sunflower Fields” by Li Juan and their English translations as parallel corpora, this paper systematically compares the translation strategies employed by human translators and DeepSeek machine translation in handling culture-loaded words. Six representative examples are drawn from three categories: Kazakh ethnic material culture terms, regional folk culture terms, and natural imagery with poetic language. The findings reveal that human translators hold clear advantages in cross-cultural background compensation, creative selection of literary vocabulary, and overall enhancement of artistic quality; DeepSeek, by contrast, demonstrates greater consistency in preserving source-text syntactic structures and maintaining lexical precision. Drawing on the complementary strengths of both approaches, this paper offers preliminary suggestions on human-machine collaborative translation workflows, with a view to providing reference for literary translation practice.
