Abstract: In recent years, school bullying has evolved into a pressing global social issue, with a particularly high prevalence among adolescents. Defined as an act occurring inside or outside campus where an individual or group intentionally or maliciously inflicts physical harm, property damage, or psychological distress on another individual or group through physical, verbal, or cyber means, school bullying encompasses both direct bullying and indirect bullying. Childhood trauma refers to traumatic events that individuals experience in childhood that exceed their ability to cope. Childhood is a very important period in the development of an individual, and the experiences of this period can even affect a person’s characteristics in adulthood. Therefore, it is of great theoretical and practical significance to explore the influence mechanism of childhood trauma on adolescent school bullying, which is of great theoretical and practical significance for constructing a trauma-informed school bullying prevention and intervention system. This paper focuses on adolescents in middle and late adolescence and provides an integrative review of relevant research conducted both domestically and internationally in recent years. It aims to systematically explore the impact of childhood trauma on adolescent school bullying and reveal how individuals’ early experiences profoundly shape their behavior patterns.
