基于英语学习活动观的文物主题教学实践——以安徽博物院金扣玛瑙碗为例
Teaching Practice of Cultural Relics Based on the Activity-Based Approach to English Learning—A Case Study of Agate Bowl with Gold Rim in Anhui Museum
摘要: 本文在英语学习活动观的指引下,以安徽博物院珍品“金扣玛瑙碗”作为教学实例,构建“高校–博物馆–中学”三方协同的文物主题英语教学实践模式。通过设计学习理解、应用实践、迁移创新这三个递进层级的教学活动,探寻文化深度学习与课程思政融合的有效途径。实践结果表明,该模式显著提高学生对英语学习的兴趣,促进语言知识向文化素养的转变,验证馆校合作机制在跨学科情境中的可行性。它为新时代背景下“用英语讲好中国故事”提供可复制的教学范例,对于培养学生的批判性思维能力与社会责任感具有重要的启示价值。
Abstract: Guided by the Activity-based Approach to English Learning, this paper constructs a practical teaching model for cultural relic-themed English instruction. Using the “Agate Bowl with Gold Rim” from Anhui Museum as a case study, the model is built upon a tripartite collaboration among universities, museums, and secondary schools. It designs teaching activities across three progressive levels—learning and understanding, application and practice, and transfer and innovation—to explore effective pathways for integrating deep cultural learning with values education. Practical results indicate that this model significantly enhances students’ interest in English learning and facilitates the transformation of linguistic knowledge into cultural literacy. The practice validates the feasibility of the museum-school collaboration mechanism within interdisciplinary contexts. It provides a replicable pedagogical model for “telling China’s stories well in English” in the new era, holding significant implications for cultivating students’ critical thinking skills and sense of social responsibility.
