英语学科核心素养下的高中英语教材分析——以Unit 4 Natural Disasters为例
An Analysis of Senior High School English Textbooks Based on Key Competencies of English Discipline—Taking Unit 4 Natural Disasters as an Example
摘要: 本文基于《普通高中英语课程标准(2017年版2020年修订)》所提出的英语学科核心素养,对人教版高中英语必修一第四单元“Natural Disasters”进行微观教材分析。本文首先界定英语学科核心素养及教材分析的概念。其次,以该单元为例,从微观层面逐一剖析其教学内容与活动设计对四维素养的培养体现。进而,本文聚焦于评价本单元设计中四维素养的整合程度,通过具体分析project板块的综合性项目,阐述其如何协同促进多项素养的发展,并得出相应的教学方法启示。分析表明,该单元在主题引领下,较为有效地将语言学习、思维训练、文化熏陶与学习策略培养融为一体,体现了素养导向的教材设计理念。
Abstract: Based on the key competencies of English as a foreign language proposed in “The Senior High School English Curriculum Standards (2017 Edition, Revised 2020)”, this paper conducts a micro-level textbook analysis of Unit 4 “Natural Disasters” from the People’s Education Press (PEP) Compulsory Book 1 for senior high schools. Firstly, this paper defines the concepts of key competencies of English and textbook analysis. Secondly, taking the unit as an example, it analyzes how the teaching contents and activity design reflect the cultivation of the four key competencies at the micro level. Furthermore, this paper focuses on evaluating the integration level of the four key competencies in the unit design. By analyzing the comprehensive project in the project section in detail, it elaborates on how the section synergistically promotes the development of multiple competencies and derives corresponding teaching method implications. The analysis shows that under the guidance of the theme, the unit effectively integrates language learning, thinking training, cultural edification and learning strategy cultivation, embodying the competency-oriented textbook design philosophy.
