核心素养导向下初中英语课程工具性与人文性的融合路径探究

摘要: 在核心素养培育的时代导向下,初中英语课程的深化改革着重凸显其工具属性与人文属性的辩证统一关系,这是《义务教育英语课程标准(2022年版)》明确提出的课程本质要求。本文以语言能力、思维品质、文化意识和学习能力四大核心素养为理论支撑,聚焦当前初中英语教学中存在的工具性过度凸显、人文性弱化等现实问题,通过文献研究方法,系统探究二者融合的内在逻辑与实践路径。研究明确了工具性是英语课程的基础功能,承担语言知识传授与技能训练的核心任务;人文性是课程的价值内核,关乎文化理解、情感培育与价值观塑造。最终提出主题意义的探究教学内容的优化、教学方法的创新、评价体系的完善四大融合策略,为初中英语教学实现“语言习得”与“人文成长”的协同发展提供理论参考与实践指导,助力学生全方位达成英语学科核心素养的培育目标。
Abstract: Guided by the contemporary focus on cultivating core competencies, the in-depth reform of the junior high school English curriculum emphasizes the dialectical unity between its instrumental and humanistic attributes. It is a fundamental requirement explicitly set out in the Compulsory Education English Curriculum Standards (2022 Edition). This paper draws on the four core competencies—language proficiency, thinking skills, cultural awareness and learning ability—as its theoretical foundation. It addresses the practical issues currently present in junior high school English teaching, such as the excessive emphasis on the instrumental aspect and the weakening of the humanistic dimension. Through the method of literature review, the study systematically explores the intrinsic logic and practical pathways for integrating these two aspects. The research clarifies that the instrumental aspect constitutes the foundational function of the English curriculum, undertaking the core tasks of imparting linguistic knowledge and training skills; whilst the humanistic dimension constitutes the value core of the curriculum, relating to cultural understanding, emotional development and the shaping of values. Ultimately, the study proposes four integration strategies: optimizing thematic inquiry-based teaching content, innovating teaching methods and refining the assessment system. These provide theoretical references and practical guidance for junior secondary English teaching to achieve the synergistic development of “language acquisition” and “humanistic growth”, thereby assisting students in comprehensively attaining the cultivation objectives of core English subject competencies.
