户外行走直播对观众媒介地方感的建构路径探索——以抖音平台上海地区户外行走直播为例
Exploring the Pathways of Constructing Audiences’ Media Sense of Place through Outdoor Walking Live Streams—A Case Study of Douyin Platform’s Outdoor Walking Live Streams in Shanghai
摘要: 地方感是用于描述人地关系中的情感联结的重要概念,近年来却在媒介化所带来的虚拟体验中逐步失去其固有根基,由具身实践产生的传统地方感正在式微。然而,媒介的介入也使地方感的形成方式不断创新,尤其是新兴媒介形态中将“主播具身行走”与“观众远程漫游”相结合的户外行走直播极大地丰富了人们的地方体验,为人们形成新型地方感——媒介地方感有着重要影响。基于此,本研究探究了上海地区户外行走直播建构观众媒介地方感的具体路径,发现户外行走直播可通过“媒介地方”“媒介体验”“地方认同”三个维度对观众的媒介地方感进行建构,且每个维度均有“人–媒介–地方”三要素的交织作用,以此为观众再造了“可解蔽的地方”“可沉浸的地方”与“可依恋的地方”,为数字媒介再造衰落的地方感提供了新的思路。
Abstract: The concept of “sense of place” is crucial for describing the emotional connection within human-land relationships. In recent years, it has gradually lost its inherent foundation amidst the virtual experiences brought about by media. The traditional sense of place, derived from embodied practice, is declining. However, media intervention has also continuously innovated the formation of a sense of place. Notably, the emerging media form of outdoor walking live streaming—combining “embodied walking by the host” and “remote roaming by the audience”—has significantly enriched people’s experiences of place, playing a pivotal role in shaping a new type of sense of place: “media sense of place”. Based on this, the present study investigates the specific pathways through which outdoor walking live streaming constructs audiences’ media sense of place in the Shanghai region. It finds that outdoor walking live streaming can shape audiences’ media sense of place through three dimensions: “media place”, “media experience”, and “place identity”. Each dimension involves the intertwined interplay of three elements: people, media, and place. This process reconstructs for the audience a “decipherable place”, an “immersive place”, and an “attachable place”, offering new insights for digital media to revitalize the declining sense of place.
