聚焦意义,深化阅读:高中英语主题式阅读教学的案例研究——以新人教版必修一Unit 5《The Chinese Writing System: Connecting the Past and the Present》为例

摘要: 本研究以新人教版高中英语必修一Unit 5阅读文本《The Chinese Writing System: Connecting the Past and the Present》为案例,基于《普通高中英语课程标准(2017年版2020年修订)》、主题意义探究理论及国际跨文化教学、批判性阅读与多模态教学相关理论,采用案例研究法系统设计研究工具与数据收集路径,构建“主题引领–群文互补–素养落地”的教学框架。研究表明,以“汉字文化传承”为核心的主题探究,能够通过多模态导入、三阶问题链、迁移创新等活动,帮助学生深化文本理解,提升语言运用与跨文化思维能力。本课例为高中英语文化类文本教学提供了“单篇精读 + 群文拓展”的实践范式,呼应了“主题统领群文阅读”的教学主张。
Abstract: Taking the reading text The Chinese Writing System: Connecting the Past and the Present from Unit 5 of the New People’s Education Edition Senior High School English Compulsory 1 as a case study, this research is based on the English Curriculum Standards for General High Schools (2017 Edition, Revised in 2020), the theory of thematic meaning exploration, as well as relevant international theories of intercultural teaching, critical reading, and multimodal pedagogy. It adopts the case study method to systematically design research tools and data collection paths, and constructs a teaching framework of “theme leadership-multiple text complementarity-literacy implementation”. The research shows that thematic exploration centered on “Chinese character culture inheritance” can help students deepen text understanding, improve language application and cross-cultural thinking abilities, and enhance Chinese cultural identity through multi-modal introduction, three-level question chains, and transfer innovation activities. This case provides a practical paradigm of “single text intensive reading + multiple text expansion” for the teaching of cultural texts in senior high school English, echoing teaching proposition of “theme-led multiple text reading”.
