Abstract: Driven by the digital economy, China’s cross-border e-commerce trade has flourished. As an important strategic trade partner of China, ASEAN boasts broad prospects for the development of its cross-border e-commerce industry. With the growth of trade flows between China and ASEAN, the demand for professional talents in the ASEAN cross-border e-commerce market has become increasingly urgent. Enterprises are in urgent need of compound talents who are proficient in professional technologies such as platform operation and data analysis, as well as possessing foreign language application ability and cross-cultural communication literacy. Based on the stakeholder theory and from the perspective of industry-education integration, combined with the demands of ASEAN cross-border e-commerce enterprises, this paper conducts an in-depth country-specific analysis on three representative ASEAN countries including Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand, analyzes the current problems faced in cross-border e-commerce talent cultivation, and puts forward targeted and differentiated paths for cultivating ASEAN cross-border e-commerce talents, so as to provide talent support for the implementation of China’s digital trade strategy in the ASEAN region.
