Difficulties and Countermeasures for University Students in Memorizing Ancient Chinese Poetry

摘要: 古诗词是中国文化的瑰宝，是语言最精炼的文学形式，然而由于时代久远，其用字、格律、篇章结构，甚至出现的语境已不同于今天的诗歌。这些给今天大学生背诵造成了诸多困难，具体表现在，默写中出现包括古今字不分、字词颠倒、逻辑不通、内容理解不到位等诸多错误。所以，了解古今字、通假字等古文常识，掌握古诗词的格律，熟悉古诗词的语篇衔接手段，以及篇章的逻辑结构，会更高效地识记、理解古诗词，为进一步欣赏和运用打下扎实的基础。

Abstract: As a treasure of Chinese culture, ancient Chinese poetry is considered the most refined literary form of the language. However, due to the passage of time, its characters, prosody, textual structure, and even the contexts in which it appears have been found to be different from contemporary poetry. These factors are considered to present considerable difficulties for modern university students in memorizing ancient poetry. Specific problems are manifested in numerous errors in dictation, including confusion between ancient and modern characters, transposition of words, illogical expressions, and inadequate comprehension of content. Therefore, it is believed that mastering common knowledge of ancient Chinese, including ancient-modern characters and phonetic loan characters, understanding the prosodic rules of ancient poetry, becoming familiar with textual cohesive devices, and comprehending the logical structure of poetry will enable more efficient recognition and memorization of ancient poetry, thereby laying a solid foundation for further appreciation and application.
