内容型语言教学法(CBI)视角下PTE教学——以“小组讨论总结”题型为例

A CBI Perspective on PTE Test Preparation—A Case Study of the “Summarize from Group Discussion” Task

摘要: PTE学术英语考试于2025年新增“Summarize from Group Discussion”(小组讨论总结)题型，标志着其测评重心进一步向“真实场景下的综合应用能力”倾斜。文章基于内容型语言教学法(Content-Based Instruction, CBI)的理论框架，系统分析了该题型的核心特征、考查维度与评分逻辑，并揭示了CBI“内容驱动、技能整合、场景真实”三大原则与题型设计之间的三重理论契合。最后，在此基础上，从一线教学实践出发，提出了“主题模块设计–技能分层训练–多元反馈评估”的三维教学体系，旨在为PTE备考教学提供科学的理论支撑与可操作的教学策略，有效提升学习者的学术语言综合应用能力。

Abstract: The addition of the “Summarize from Group Discussion” task to the Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic in 2025 signifies a shift in the test’s focus towards assessing integrated skills in authentic academic scenarios. Grounded in the theoretical framework of Content-Based Instruction (CBI), this paper systematically analyzes the core features, assessment dimensions, and scoring criteria of this new task type. It reveals a three-fold theoretical alignment between the fundamental principles of CBI—content-driven, skills integration, and authentic context—and the design logic of the task. Furthermore, from a practical teaching perspective, this paper proposes a three-dimensional instructional system comprising “thematic module design, stratified skills training, and multi-faceted feedback and assessment.” The aim is to provide a scientific theoretical foundation and actionable teaching strategies for PTE test preparation, thereby effectively enhancing learners’ integrated academic language proficiency.
