概念隐喻视角下的含“虎”字词的词义分析

A Semantic Analysis of Words and Lexemes Containing “Hu” (Tiger) from the Perspective of Conceptual Metaphor

摘要: 本文以概念隐喻理论为依托，以现代汉语含“虎”字词为研究对象，结合《现代汉语词典》(第7版)释义与CCL语料库真实语料，从属性、地位、形态三类相似性入手，系统梳理“虎”的隐喻映射机制。文章进一步从结构隐喻、方位隐喻、本体隐喻三个维度，阐释“虎”由动物本义向人的品性、社会地位、势力风险等抽象范畴延伸的语义生成过程。

Abstract: Based on Conceptual Metaphor Theory, this paper takes modern Chinese words and expressions containing “tiger” as the research object. Combining definitions from Modern Chinese Dictionary (7th edition) and authentic corpus data from the CCL Corpus, it systematically sorts out the metaphorical mapping mechanisms of “tiger” from three types of similarity: attributes, status, and form. Furthermore, from the three dimensions of structural metaphor, orientational metaphor, and ontological metaphor, the paper explains the semantic extension process whereby the basic animal meaning of “tiger” is extended to abstract categories such as human character, social status, power, and risks.
