大观念视域下初中英语单元整体教学设计分析——以人教版八年级上册Unit 2“Home Sweet Home”为例
Integrated Unit Teaching Design Analysis of Junior High School English under the Big Idea Perspective—A Case Study of Unit 2 “Home Sweet Home” in PEP Grade 8 First Volume
摘要: 大观念的提出,能够有效改善英语教学中内容碎片化、理解表层化的问题,也为教师开展单元整体教学提供了更为清晰可行的思路。本文在大观念以及单元整体教学的理论基础上,以初中英语人教版八年级上册Unit 2 “Home Sweet Home”为例,探讨本单元在单元主题、内容编排与活动设计方面,是如何体现大观念视角下的初中英语整体教学设计理念。此外,通过对该单元的系统分析,本研究可为一线教学提供相应的教学启示以供参考。
Abstract: The proposal of Big Ideas can effectively address the problems of fragmented teaching content and superficial understanding in English instruction, and provides teachers with a clearer and more feasible approach to carrying out integrated unit teaching. Based on the theoretical foundations of Big Ideas and integrated unit teaching, this paper takes Unit 2 Home Sweet Home from Grade 8 Volume 1 of the PEP junior high school English textbook as an example. It explores how this unit embodies the concept of integrated teaching design for junior high school English from the perspective of Big Ideas in terms of unit theme, content arrangement and activity design. In addition, through a systematic analysis of this unit, this study offers corresponding pedagogical implications for reference in front-line classroom teaching.
