合作原则视角下《阿甘正传》中的会话含义分析

Analysis of the Conversational Meaning in “Forrest Gump” from the Perspective of Cooperative Principle

摘要: 本文以格莱斯的合作原则为理论依据，选取电影《阿甘正传》中的典型对白作为语料，采用案例分析法，从语用学视角探讨人物在会话中偏离合作原则所产生的会话含义，并分析其在人物塑造与情节推进中的作用。研究发现，人物通过策略性违反合作原则能够有效传递隐含意义，增强语言表达的艺术效果。从语用学的角度分析对话所蕴含的深层含义有助于观众更好地理解其在对推动剧情发展与塑造人物形象中的作用，并深入赏析影片的艺术价值。

Abstract: This study is based on Grice’s cooperative principle as its theoretical foundation. It selects typical dialogues from the movie “Forrest Gump” as the corpus, and adopts the case analysis method to explore the conversational meaning generated by characters’ deviation from the cooperative principle in the conversation, and analyzes its role in character portrayal and plot advancement. The research finds that characters can effectively convey implicit meanings through strategic violations of the cooperative principle, enhancing the artistic effect of language expression. Analyzing the deep meaning contained in the dialogue from the perspective of pragmatics helps viewers better understand its role in promoting the development of the plot and shaping the characters, and enables a deeper appreciation of the artistic value of the film.
