鄂东乡村地名的认知语义阐释与乡愁记忆的建构机制研究

A Study on the Cognitive Semantic Interpretation of Rural Place Names and the Construction Mechanism of Nostalgia Memory in Eastern Hubei

摘要: 鄂东地区作为“江西填湖广”的重要迁入地与荆楚文化的交汇带，其乡村地名不仅是地理空间的标识，更是承载地域历史、生态智慧与集体记忆的文化符号。本文从认知语言学的隐喻、意象图式、范畴化及人文地理学的地方感理论入手，对鄂东乡村地名进行认知语义阐释。研究发现，鄂东地名通过概念隐喻将乡愁与具象凝固起来，通过意象图式为乡愁记忆提供空间线索，通过分类与范畴化，塑造了乡愁和地方感知的秩序。乡村地名的这些认知机制使它可以将抽象的地理空间转化为可被理解、体验和回忆的“地方”。文章提出，在城镇化背景下，乡土地名的调整可能使乡愁记忆面临断裂的风险，因此，我们应该保护乡村地名。

Abstract: As an important destination for the “Jiangxi Filling Hubei and Hunan” migration and a convergence zone of Jingchu culture, the rural place names in the eastern Hubei region are not only geographical markers but also cultural symbols that carry regional history, ecological wisdom and collective memory. This paper conducts a cognitive semantic interpretation of rural place names in eastern Hubei from the perspectives of metaphor, image schema, categorization in cognitive linguistics and the sense of place theory in human geography. The research finds that the place names in eastern Hubei solidify nostalgia and concrete images through conceptual metaphor, provide spatial clues for nostalgia memory through image schema, and shape the order of nostalgia and local perception through classification and categorization. These cognitive mechanisms of rural place names enable the transformation of abstract geographical space into a “place” that can be understood, experienced and recalled. The article suggests that under the background of urbanization, the adjustment of local place names may pose a risk of breaking the nostalgia memory; thus, we should protect rural place names.
