“用英语讲好中国故事”的实践育人价值——以风景园林专业情境式5E教学法为例
The Practical Educational Value of “Telling China’s Story Well in English”—A Case Study of the Situational 5E Teaching Method in Landscape Architecture
摘要: 培养高职学生用英语讲好中国故事是现代职业教育核心任务之一,本研究以模块化教学内容中的文化遗产主题为例,系统考察情境式5E教学法在“用英语讲好中国故事”中的教学实践,结合质性分析与教学实证研究方法,对提升学生语言应用能力、文化传播意识、职业身份认同及思政素养目标的实际效果予以严谨验证。研究表明:基于文化背景开展英语教学,设计从文化载体到情境探究、从语言实践到专业融合、从知识学习到价值内化的完整育人路径,既有利于形成语言习得、专业培养、价值引导三者有机统一的良性格局,也切实有利于提高学生跨文化沟通能力,更在潜移默化中强化文化认同感,自然地激发其职业使命感。
Abstract: Cultivating vocational college students to tell China’s story well in English is one of the core tasks of modern vocational education. This study takes the cultural heritage theme in modular teaching content as an example to systematically examine the teaching practice of the situational 5E teaching method in “telling China’s story well in English.” Combining qualitative analysis and empirical teaching research methods, it rigorously verifies the actual effects on improving students’ language application ability, cultural dissemination awareness, professional identity, and ideological and political literacy. The study shows that conducting English teaching based on cultural background and designing a complete educational path from cultural carriers to situational exploration, from language practice to professional integration, and from knowledge learning to value internalization is not only conducive to forming a virtuous cycle of organic unity among language acquisition, professional training, and value guidance, but also effectively improves students’ cross-cultural communication skills and subtly strengthens their cultural identity, naturally stimulating their sense of professional mission.
