从礼乐教化到个性张扬:先秦至魏晋美育思想的嬗变与启示
From Moral and Musical Education to the Expression of Individuality: The Evolution and Implications of Aesthetic Education Thought from the Pre-Qin to the Wei-Jin Periods
摘要: 先秦至魏晋时期,美育经历从礼乐教化向个性张扬的转型。先秦礼乐制度中,“乐”承担情感感化与审美体验,属美育范畴;“礼”侧重行为规范与社会秩序,属德育范畴,二者形成“德美并行”的早期教化传统。两汉时期,礼乐教化中的审美维度被政治伦理深度收编。至魏晋,玄学思潮、庄园经济、九品中正制与艺术自律共同推动美育转向。这一嬗变本质是德与美关系的持续调适。当代美育应警惕工具化倾向,在传承“以美辅德”社会价值的同时,借鉴魏晋尊重个体差异的精神,构建社会引领性与个体赋能性相统一的多元共生体系。
Abstract: From the pre-Qin period to the Wei-Jin period, aesthetic education experienced a transformation from ritual and music-based moral education to an emphasis on individual expression. In the ritual and music system of the pre-Qin era, “music” undertook emotional influence and aesthetic experience, falling under the realm of aesthetic education, while “ritual” focused on behavioral norms and social order, belonging to moral education. Together, they formed the early educational tradition of “parallel cultivation of virtue and beauty”. During the Han dynasties, the aesthetic dimension in ritual and music education was deeply incorporated into political ethics. By the Wei-Jin period, neo-Daoist thought, manor economy, the Nine-rank system, and artistic self-discipline jointly promoted the shift of aesthetic education. The essence of this transformation was the continuous adjustment of the relationship between virtue and beauty. Contemporary aesthetic education should be wary of instrumentalization, and while inheriting the social value of “using beauty to aid virtue”, it should also draw on the Wei-Jin spirit of respecting individual differences to construct a diverse and symbiotic system that unifies social guidance with individual empowerment.
