An Analysis of Master’s Thesis Topic Selection in International Chinese Language Education at Shanghai Local Universities

摘要: 本文旨在通过系统梳理上海外国语大学、华东师范大学及上海师范大学近年来的数百篇国际中文教育硕士学位论文，深入探究该地区硕士学位论文的选题领域分布、学科核心特点及前沿发展趋势。分析发现，论文选题呈现出以“二语习得与偏误研究”为核心，“教学法与课程研究”、“教师发展与教材研究”、“跨文化交际与传播”为三大支柱的分布格局；学科特点则表现出强烈的问题导向与实践关切、跨学科方法论的融合、鲜明的国别化与对比研究取向，以及对技术赋能教学的初步探索，标志着该学科正从传统范式向技术与教育深度融合的新范式转型。本文旨在为把握国际中文教育硕士培养的研究动向、优化学科建设及前瞻未来研究重点提供实证参考。

Abstract: This paper aims to systematically review hundreds of Master’s theses on International Chinese Language Education from Shanghai International Studies University, East China Normal University, and Shanghai Normal University in recent years, to explore the distribution of research topics, core disciplinary characteristics, and cutting-edge development trends in theses from this region. Analysis reveals that the thesis topics exhibit a distribution pattern centered on “Second Language Acquisition and Error Research,” with “Teaching Methodology and Curriculum Research,” “Teacher Development and Textbook Research,” and “Intercultural Communication and Dissemination” as three pillars. Disciplinary characteristics demonstrate a strong problem-oriented and practical concern, the integration of interdisciplinary methodologies, a distinct national and comparative research orientation, and preliminary explorations of technology-enabled teaching, indicating that the discipline is transitioning from a traditional paradigm to a new paradigm of deep integration of technology and education. This paper aims to provide empirical reference for understanding the research trends in International Chinese Language Education Master’s programs, optimizing discipline construction, and identifying future research priorities.
