陶道穴穴名刍议及功效发微

A Preliminary Discussion on the Name of the Tàodào Acupoint and an Elaboration of Its Therapeutic Effects

摘要: 陶道穴首见于《针灸甲乙经》：“在大椎节下间，督脉、足太阳之会，俯而取之。刺入五分，留五呼，灸五壮。”本书又言其功效为：“头重目瞑，凄厥，寒热，汗不出，陶道主之。”笔者从陶道穴之名进行训释，阐发其意义与内涵，将其功效总结归纳为助卫阳以散表邪；和枢机以宣郁热；泻阳热以疗窍病；调大气以理阴阳等四个方面，以期为陶道穴的临床应用提供更丰富的理论依据。

Abstract: The first mention of the Tàodào acupoint in Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing states: “Located below the intervertebral space of Dazhui, it is the meeting point of the Du Meridian and the Foot-Taiyang Meridian. The patient should be in a forward-bending posture to locate it. Insert the needle 5 cun deep, retain it for five breaths, and apply five moxa cones.” The text further describes its therapeutic effects: “Head heaviness, blurred vision, cold extremities, fever, and anhidrosis—Tàodào is the primary point for treating these conditions.” The author interprets the etymology and conceptual connotations of the name “Tàodào” (Passage of the Great Way), synthesizing its clinical functions into four key aspects, boosting defensive yang against exterior pathogens, harmonizing pivots to release stagnant heat, clearing yang heat for orifice ailments, and regulating primordial qi to harmonize yin-yang, which provides richer theoretical support for the clinical use of Tàodào.
