及物性视角下《小雅·鹿鸣》及其英译本的生态和谐理念分析

An Analysis of the Ecological Harmony Concept in Xiao Ya·Lu Ming and Its English Translations from the Perspective of Transitivity

摘要: 本文以系统功能语言学中的及物性理论为框架，对《小雅·鹿鸣》原诗及其许渊冲、理雅各英译本进行生态和谐理念分析，挖掘诗中体现的生态和谐观念。研究发现，《小雅·鹿鸣》通过对自然景观的描写展现了作者热爱自然的自然和谐，通过物质过程和心理过程展现社会协作的社会和谐，通过关系过程展现礼贤下士、崇尚礼仪的精神和谐。

Abstract: Based on the transitivity theory of Systemic Functional Linguistics, this paper conducts an analysis of the ecological harmony concept embodied in the original poem Xiao Ya·Lu Ming as well as its English versions translated by Xu Yuanchong and James Legge. It explores the ecological harmony thoughts embedded in the poem. The research reveals that Xiao Ya·Lu Ming presents the natural harmony of the poet’s love for nature through depictions of natural scenery, embodies social harmony reflected in social collaboration via material and mental processes, and manifests spiritual harmony featuring respecting talents and advocating etiquette through relational processes.
