近二十年我国初中英语教材演变研究的文献综述和启示
Literature Review and Implication on the Evolution of Junior High School English Textbooks in China over the Past Two Decades
摘要: 教材是课程理念的核心载体与课堂教学的基本依据。2003年以来,伴随基础教育课程改革的深入推进,我国初中英语教材经历了深刻变革。本文采用文献综述的方法,系统梳理了近二十年(2003~2023年)国内关于初中英语教材研究的主要成果,从教材结构演变、文化呈现演变、技术融合演变以及教材使用与评价四个主题对已有研究进行了分类整合。研究发现,学界在揭示教材从“语法为纲”到“大单元引领”、从“英美文化为主”到“中外互鉴”、从“磁带辅助”到“AI赋能”等演变趋势上取得了丰富成果,但仍存在纵向追踪研究不足、研究方法单一、对新课标教材研究滞后等局限。基于上述分析,本文从教材编写、教师教学和未来研究三个维度提出了启示与建议,以期为新时代初中英语教材建设与实践提供参考。
Abstract: Textbooks serve as the core carrier of curriculum philosophy and the fundamental basis for classroom teaching. Since 2003, with the in-depth advancement of basic education curriculum reform, junior high school English textbooks in China have undergone profound changes. Adopting the method of literature review, this paper systematically sorts out the major domestic research achievements on junior high school English textbooks in the past two decades (2003~2023). It categorizes and integrates existing studies from four themes: the evolution of textbook structure, the evolution of cultural presentation, the evolution of technology integration, as well as textbook application and evaluation. The study finds that academic circles have yielded fruitful findings in revealing the evolutionary trends of textbooks, such as shifting from grammar-centered teaching to large unit guidance, from Anglo-American culture dominance to mutual learning between Chinese and foreign cultures, and from tape-assisted teaching to AI empowerment. Nevertheless, there still exist limitations including insufficient longitudinal tracking research, single research methods, and lagging research on textbooks under the new curriculum standards. Based on the above analysis, this paper puts forward implications and suggestions from three dimensions: textbook compilation, teachers’ teaching, and future research, aiming to provide references for the construction and practice of junior high school English textbooks in the new era.
