人机协同视域下中华优秀传统文化英译教学实践研究——以新外研社七上Unit 4 Time to Celebrate为例
A Practical Study on English Translation Teaching of Excellent Traditional Chinese Culture from the Perspective of Human-AI Collaboration—Taking Unit 4 Time to Celebrate in the New FLTRP English Textbook for Grade 7 as an Example
摘要: 在数字技术深度融入基础教育的背景下,生成式人工智能为初中英语教学提供了新的资源支持和实践空间。中华优秀传统文化英译教学不仅关系到学生语言表达能力的发展,也关系到文化意识、跨文化沟通能力和文化自信的培养。本文以新外研社七年级上册Unit 4
Time to Celebrate为例,基于人机协同视角,结合英语学习活动观,探讨生成式人工智能支持下中华优秀传统文化英译教学的实践路径。研究认为,该单元围绕节日与庆祝方式展开,包含春节、端午节、节日团圆、节日值守等文化内容,适合设计“文化理解–表达积累–AI辅助英译–人工校正–海报展示”的教学链。教学中,AI可承担文化信息检索、语言支架生成、译文比较和反馈修改等辅助功能,教师则应发挥任务设计、文化把关、价值引导和评价反馈作用,引导学生在理解中华文化内涵的基础上进行恰当、清晰、有温度的英语表达。人机协同并非以机器代替学生思考,而是在教师引导下促进学生从“知道传统文化”走向“能够用英语讲述传统文化”。
Abstract: With the deep integration of digital technology into basic education, generative artificial intelligence has provided new resources and practical possibilities for junior middle school English teaching. English translation teaching of excellent traditional Chinese culture is not only related to the development of students’ language competence, but also to the cultivation of cultural awareness, intercultural communication competence and cultural confidence. Taking Unit 4 Time to Celebrate in the new FLTRP English textbook for Grade 7 as an example, this paper explores the practical path of English translation teaching of excellent traditional Chinese culture supported by generative AI from the perspective of human-AI collaboration and the English learning activity approach. The study finds that this unit focuses on festivals and celebrations, covering such cultural elements as the Spring Festival, the Dragon Boat Festival, family reunion and holiday duty. It is suitable for designing a teaching chain of “cultural understanding - language accumulation - AI-assisted translation - human revision - poster presentation”. In this process, AI can provide support in cultural information searching, language scaffolding, translation comparison and feedback revision, while teachers should play a leading role in task design, cultural guidance, value education and assessment. Human-AI collaboration does not mean replacing students’ thinking with machine-generated answers, but helping students move from “knowing traditional culture” to “expressing traditional culture in English” under teachers’ guidance.
