An Analysis of the Dilemma and Countermeasures of Legal Literacy of Higher Vocational College Students—From the Perspective of Counselor’s Work
Abstract: As an important base for cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents, higher vocational colleges play a critical role in shaping students’ legal literacy, which is not only vital for their personal growth and development but also affects social harmony and stability. However, current higher vocational college students still exhibit various deficiencies in legal literacy, such as weak legal awareness, lack of legal knowledge, and insufficient legal practice ability. These problems not only restrict the comprehensive development of students but also pose challenges to the construction of the rule of law in society. As frontline educators, counselors have unique advantages in legal education, including organization and coordination, behavioral guidance, and resource integration. Based on the collaborative education theory, this paper proposes constructing a counselor-led “three-dimensional synergy” cultivation system involving subject synergy, carrier synergy, and practice synergy, aiming to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents with legal literacy.
