中国古典诗词中花卉意象的概念映射研究
A Study on the Conceptual Mapping of Flower Imagery in Classical Chinese Poetry
摘要: 本文从认知诗学视角切入,将古典诗词中的花卉书写视为一种根植于身体经验的认知图式化现象。研究以植物从萌发到萎谢的完整生命节律为分析轴心,整合身体认知理论的相关成果,考察花卉的感官特质与生命律动怎样被诗人转化为理解“人之形貌”“心绪起伏”与“德性追求”等抽象范畴的认知工具。分析显示,花卉意象的隐喻机制并非符号的静态置换,而是以“盛放–衰谢”这一原初身体图式为根基的动态认知活动。该过程揭示了诗人如何调动植根于身体的、动态的植物生命经验来把握复杂的精神世界。本文进一步探讨了这一认知过程中范畴层级的遴选机制及其文化独特性,为重新阐释古典诗学中的“比德”传统开辟了一条认知路径。
Abstract: This study approaches classical Chinese flower imagery from the perspective of cognitive poetics, treating floral representations in poetry as a cognitive schematization phenomenon rooted in bodily experience. Taking the complete vital rhythm of plants—from germination to withering—as its analytical axis, and integrating insights from embodied cognition theory, the research examines how the sensory qualities and vital rhythms of flowers are transformed by poets into cognitive instruments for apprehending abstract categories such as “human appearance”, “emotional fluctuations”, and “moral aspirations”. The analysis reveals that the metaphorical mechanism of flower imagery is not a static substitution of symbols, but rather a dynamic cognitive activity grounded in the primordial bodily schema of “blooming and withering”. This process illuminates how poets mobilize embodied, dynamic experiences of plant life to grasp the complexities of the spiritual world. The paper further explores the selection mechanism of categorical levels within this cognitive process and its cultural distinctiveness, thereby opening a cognitive pathway for reinterpreting the “analogical virtue” tradition in classical poetics.
