摘要: 在游戏影像化与虚拟现实日益交叠的媒介语境中,《失控玩家》并非仅依靠视觉奇观完成对“自由城”的空间建构,而是通过系统化的声音设计,使沙盒游戏世界获得可感知的规则、边界与主体性。本文以声景理论、电影声音理论与游戏声音研究为参照,提出“声景–规则–主体”的分析框架,考察声音在虚拟空间建构、叙事推进与哲学表达中的复合功能。影片首先通过拟真环境声与程式化游戏音效的并置,形成兼具生活感与代码感的混合声景;其次借助触发式声效、听觉权限差异和声音前景化机制,模拟沙盒游戏的互动逻辑与权力结构;最后通过跨次元声桥与互文性声效,将现实世界、游戏世界与玩家文化缝合为同一叙事系统。本文认为,声音在《失控玩家》中已超越氛围营造的辅助功能,成为组织虚拟空间、驱动身份觉醒并提出虚拟主体问题的核心机制。影片的声音设计不仅为游戏题材电影提供了跨媒介声景建构范例,也为元宇宙时代的虚拟听觉经验与存在认知提供了前沿性思考。
Abstract: In a media context where the cinematicization of games and virtual reality increasingly overlap, Free Guy constructs the space of “Free City” not merely through visual spectacle, but through systematic sound design that endows the sandbox game world with perceptible rules, boundaries, and subjectivity. Drawing on soundscape theory, film sound theory, and game sound studies, this article proposes an analytical framework of “soundscape-rules-subject” and examines the composite functions of sound in constructing virtual space, advancing narrative, and articulating philosophical ideas. The film first creates a hybrid soundscape that conveys both everyday life and code-based mediation through the juxtaposition of realistic ambient sounds and procedural game effects. Second, through triggered sound effects, differences in auditory access, and mechanisms of sonic foregrounding, it simulates the interactive logic and hierarchical relationships among characters in the sandbox game. Finally, through cross-dimensional sound bridges and intertextual sound effects, it sutures the real world, the game world, and player culture into a single narrative system. This article argues that sound in Free Guy has transcended its auxiliary role in atmosphere-building, becoming a core mechanism for organizing virtual space, driving identity awakening, and raising questions of virtual subjectivity. The film’s sound design not only offers a cross-media model for soundscape construction in game-themed films, but also provides forward-looking insights into virtual auditory experience and ontological cognition in the metaverse era.
