“轨”的概念隐喻分析

A Conceptual Metaphor Analysis of “Gui”

摘要: 本文以“轨”及其相关的词语组合为研究对象，借助认知语言学中的“概念隐喻理论”，深入剖析“轨”在不同语境下所蕴含的隐喻意义，并探究这些意义如何激活相关的目标域语义类别。研究结果表明：“轨”字原本指的是与车相关的部件或车轮之间的距离，或是车辙。通过相似性激活机制，特别是基于视觉上的轨道特征和列车运行特征，“轨”进一步激活了与思想感情、事件发展状态以及人生道路相关的目标域。

Abstract: This paper focuses on Chinese character “gui” and its related word combinations, using the conceptual metaphor theory from cognitive linguistics to deeply analyze the metaphorical meanings contained in “gui” in different contexts and explore how these meanings trigger related target domain semantic categories. The study results indicate that the character “gui” originally referred to the distance between components or wheels related to the vehicle, or the ruts. Based on visual track characteristics and train operation features, “gui” further activates target domains related to thoughts, emotions, event development states, and life paths.
