Research Progress on the Impact of Family Functioning on Adverse Health Outcomes in Older Adults with Cognitive Frailty

摘要: 认知衰弱是老年人同时存在躯体衰弱与轻度认知功能下降的常见综合征，患者的不良健康结局风险显著升高，不仅严重影响自身的生活质量还会加重家庭或社会的照护负担。家庭功能作为家庭系统内部运作质量的核心指标，涵盖问题解决、沟通、角色分配、情感反应等维度，对认知衰弱老人的健康结局具有重要影响。本文系统梳理家庭功能与认知衰弱老人不良健康结局关系的研究进展，分析家庭功能各个维度的正向保护作用与潜在负向影响，旨在为优化家庭功能、延缓功能衰退、预防不良健康结局提供理论依据与实践建议。
Abstract: Cognitive frailty is a common geriatric syndrome characterized by the coexistence of physical frailty and mild cognitive decline. It significantly increases the risk of adverse health outcomes, severely impairs quality of life, and imposes heavy burdens on both families and society. Family functioning, as a core indicator of the internal quality of family system operations, encompasses dimensions such as problem-solving, communication, role allocation, and emotional responsiveness, and plays an important role in the health outcomes of older adults with cognitive frailty. This paper systematically reviews the research progress on the relationship between family functioning and adverse health outcomes in older adults with cognitive frailty, analyzes the positive protective effects and potential negative influences of various dimensions of family functioning, and aims to provide theoretical basis and practical recommendations for optimizing family functioning, delaying functional decline, and preventing adverse health outcomes.
