数字化赋能综合英语系列教材词表编制研究

摘要: 为推动数字化赋能外语教材词表编制,文章以《新思维综合英语》三册教材共36,768个形符为样本,借助Range软件分析词频等级与词汇复现特征。结果显示:三册教材词族总量递增,但每册教材的层级词族分布不利于学习者进阶式习得生词;每册教材95%词汇覆盖率所需的词族数量存在差异;中频词的横向复现递增,但册间同一词族复现关联较弱。基于BNC基准词表精准筛选出1134个目标词汇,并依托Quizlet平台编制数字化词表,以促进词汇资源共享与自适应学习。研究为目标词汇筛选、数字化展示及智能化、立体化教材建设提供参考价值。
Abstract: To promote the digital empowerment of word list compilation in foreign language textbooks, this study took 36,768 tokens from the three volumes of “Spectrum” as samples and analyzed word frequency levels and lexical repetition drawing on Range software. The results showed that the total number of word families in the three volumes increased, but the distribution was not conducive to learners’ progressive acquisition of new words; there were differences in the number of word families required for 95% lexical coverage in every volume; the number of recurring mid-frequency words in each volume increased horizontally, but the recurrence correlation of the same word family between volumes was weak. Hence, 1134 target words were accurately selected according to the BNC baseword lists, which would be compiled into digital word lists on Quizlet to promote vocabulary resource sharing and personalized learning. The research provides a theoretical underpinning and reference value for target word selection, digital display, and intelligent and three-dimensional textbook construction.
