Embedding and Transformation: The Relational Communication Mechanism of Social Media Health Information on Elderly Health Actions

摘要: 本文基于社会支持理论与嵌入性理论，通过对15位城市社区老年人的深度访谈，探讨社交媒体健康信息获取对老年人健康行动的影响机制。研究发现，老年人健康信息获取具有日常化、生活化与被动熟人化特征；健康信息需嵌入家庭、同伴与社区关系网络，并在信息支持、情感支持、工具性支持与评价支持的协同作用下转化为健康行动。行动经验还会通过家庭反馈、同伴分享与社区再组织，反向影响后续信息判断、关系信任和支持获取，形成“信息环境–关系嵌入–支持组合–健康行动–反馈再嵌入”的动态循环机制。本文为老年健康传播从“信息供给”转向“关系支持型传播”和“行动反馈型传播”提供经验依据。

Abstract: Based on the social support theory and the embeddedness theory, this paper explores the influence mechanism of social media health information acquisition on the health actions of the elderly in urban communities through in-depth interviews with 15 elderly people. The research finds that the elderly’s acquisition of health information has the characteristics of daily life and passive acquaintance. Health information needs to be embedded in the relationship networks of family, peers and communities, and be transformed into health actions under the joint effect of information support, emotional support, instrumental support and evaluation support. The action experience will also affect subsequent information judgment, relationship trust and support acquisition through family feedback, peer sharing and community re-organization, forming a dynamic cycle mechanism of “information environment-relationship embedding-support combination-health action-feedback re-embedding”. This paper provides empirical evidence for the shift of elderly health communication from “information supply” to “relationship support communication” and “action feedback communication”.
