基于功能对等理论探寻心理学文本的英汉译后编辑翻译策略——以How to Manage Your Emotions为例

摘要: 随着智能翻译技术的广泛应用，机器翻译已逐渐成为学术文本翻译的重要工具。然而，心理学文本兼具专业性、抽象性和规范性等特点，机器翻译初稿往往存在术语误译、逻辑衔接不足、表达生硬以及文体不符等问题。本文以功能对等理论为指导，以心理学英文文本的机器翻译译后编辑实践为研究对象，从词汇、句法、语篇和文体四个层面分析机器翻译在心理学文本英译汉过程中存在的典型问题，并探讨相应的译后编辑策略。通过对译文进行针对性优化，力求在语义传达、逻辑表达和文体风格等方面实现与原文的功能对等，同时兼顾心理学文本的专业准确性与目标读者的阅读接受度。研究旨在为心理学领域学术文本的机器翻译译后编辑实践提供参考，并为人工智能辅助翻译背景下专业文本翻译质量的提升提供借鉴。

Abstract: With the widespread application of intelligent translation technologies, machine translation has gradually become an important tool in academic text translation. However, psychological texts are characterized by a combination of professional terminology, abstract concepts, and formal conventions. As a result, machine-translated drafts often contain problems such as terminological mistranslation, weak logical cohesion, unnatural expressions, and stylistic mismatch. Guided by Nida’s Functional Equivalence Theory, this study focuses on the post-editing practice of machine-translated English psychological texts into Chinese. It analyzes typical problems in machine translation at the lexical, syntactic, textual, and stylistic levels, and explores corresponding post-editing strategies. Through targeted optimization of the translated text, the study seeks to achieve functional equivalence with the source text in terms of semantic transfer, logical coherence, and stylistic features, while ensuring both professional accuracy in psychological discourse and readability for target readers. This research aims to provide references for the post-editing of machine translation in academic psychological texts and to offer insights into improving translation quality in the context of AI-assisted translation.
