Teaching Reform and Exploration of Chemical Engineering Literature Retrieval Course to Support Undergraduate Thesis

摘要: 本科毕业论文是高校人才培养体系中探究性、综合性的核心实践教学环节，对提升学生综合素养具有不可替代的作用。文献检索课作为培养学生信息获取与利用能力的科学方法课，将其教学与毕业论文写作相融合，有助于实现“学以致用”。文章以化工专业为例，从课程开设时间、教学内容、教学模式与考核方式四个维度进行了教学改革与探索。通过多维协同改革，使文献检索课程真正成为本科毕业论文完成的有力支撑，助力学生终身学习能力与学术素养的养成。

Abstract: The undergraduate thesis constitutes a core practical teaching component that is both exploratory and comprehensive within the university talent cultivation system, playing an irreplaceable role in enhancing students’ overall competencies. As a scientific methods course that cultivates students’ abilities to acquire and utilize information, the literature retrieval course, when integrated with undergraduate thesis writing, helps achieve “learning for application”. Taking the chemical engineering major as an example, this paper explores teaching reforms from four dimensions: course timing, teaching content, teaching mode, and assessment method. Through multi-dimensional collaborative reform, the literature retrieval course truly becomes a strong support for completing the undergraduate thesis, while also fostering students’ lifelong learning abilities and academic literacy.
