The Elementary Proof of Twin Prime Numbers
摘要: 孪生素数猜想是重要的数学问题。我们基于美国学者Terence Tao任意长度的素数等差数列有无穷多个的筛法,讨论了间距2的3项素数等差数列,提出新的筛法原理,这就是孪生素数筛选原理。内江退休教师刘文福,联系数学研究院,教授与本科研究生讨论了孪生素数猜想。爱思唯尔《数论杂志》世界难题主编史蒂文·米勒教授审查了证明,提出问题,建议与改编,然后,证明了孪生素数猜想。
Abstract: The twin prime conjecture is an important mathematical problem. Based on the sieve method proposed by American scholar Terence Tao, which states that there are infinitely many prime arithmetic sequences of arbitrary length, we discussed the three-term prime arithmetic sequences with a spacing of 2 and proposed a new sieve principle, which is the twin prime distribution principle. Liu Wenfu, a retired teacher from Neijiang, contacted the Institute of Mathematics and discussed the twin prime conjecture with professors and undergraduate students. Professor Steven Miller, the chief editor of the world’s difficult problems section of Elsevier’s “Journal of Number Theory”, reviewed the proof, raised questions, provided suggestions and made adaptations, and then proved the twin prime conjecture.
