跨文化交际视域下的文化冲突与价值差异——以电影《流落挪威的孩子》为例

Cultural Conflicts and Value Differences from the Perspective of Intercultural Communication—A Case Study of the Film Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway

摘要: 电影《流落挪威的孩子》改编自真实跨国家庭监护权事件，呈现了印度移民家庭在挪威儿童福利制度下因育儿观念、家庭结构与文化习俗差异而引发的制度冲突。结合霍夫斯泰德文化维度理论、克拉克洪-斯乔贝克价值取向理论与“第三空间”理论，研究发现影片冲突的深层根源在于文化差异进入制度化语境后，被单一标准重新定义，而跨文化解释机制的缺失又使误读持续固化。影片为跨文化传播研究与制度性文化冲突分析提供了典型案例。本文在单一案例的局限下，着重呈现冲突从误解到制度对抗的动态演化过程，以期为制度性文化冲突研究提供过程导向的分析补充。

Abstract: The film Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway, adapted from a real international child custody dispute, presents the institutional conflicts triggered by differences in parenting concepts, family structures, and cultural practices between an Indian immigrant family and the Norwegian child welfare system. Drawing on Hofstede’s cultural dimensions theory, Kluckhohn and Strodtbeck’s value orientations theory, and the concept of the “Third Space,” the study reveals that the deep-rooted cause of the conflict lies in how cultural differences, once entering an institutionalized context, are redefined by a single standard, while the absence of a cross-cultural interpretation mechanism perpetuates misinterpretation. The film serves as a case study for cross-cultural communication research and institutional cultural conflict analysis. While acknowledging the limitations of a single-case analysis, this paper highlights its contribution by offering a process-oriented analytical model that traces the escalation from misunderstanding to institutional confrontation.
