从三美论视角对比分析《江雪》英译本

Comparative Analysis of English Translations of Jiangxue from the Perspective of the Theory of Three Beauties

摘要: 许渊冲的“三美论”为诗词翻译提供了重要的评判标准。本文以《江雪》的Witter Bynner译本、许渊冲译本、吴钧陶译本和龚景浩译本为研究对象，从意美、音美、形美三个维度进行对比分析，旨在探讨不同译本在传达原诗韵味和美感方面的优劣，为古典诗词英译提供有益的参考。

Abstract: Xu Yuanchong’s “Three Beauties Theory” provides crucial criteria for evaluating poetry translation. This paper takes the English translations of Jiangxue by Witter Bynner, Xu Yuanchong, Wu Juntao and Gong Jinghao as research objects. It conducts a comparative analysis from the perspectives of ideological beauty, phonetic beauty, and formal beauty, aiming to explore the strengths and weaknesses of different translations in conveying the charm and aesthetic feeling of the original poem and provide useful references for the English translation of classical Chinese poetry.
