Abstract: This paper delves into the current status, impacts, and challenges faced by ASEAN countries regarding carbon emissions trading and green investment policies. As a crucial region for global economic growth, the ASEAN region is under significant pressure to reduce emissions. Carbon emissions trading, as a market-based mechanism for emission reduction, and green investment policies, as a vital means of promoting economic transformation, have gradually become important tools for ASEAN countries to address climate change. By analyzing the current status of carbon emissions in ASEAN countries, as well as the implementation of carbon emissions trading and green investment policies, this paper explores their comprehensive impacts on regional economy, environment, and society, and proposes suggestions for future development.
