问题性短视频使用对大学生日常记忆失败的影响:一个有调节的中介模型
The Impact of Problematic Short-From Video Use on Daily Memory Failures in College Students: A Moderated Mediation Model
摘要: 随着短视频的普及,越来越多的研究聚焦于短视频使用对个体身心健康的影响,而其对个体认知功能的影响尚未得到充分探讨。本研究建立了一个调节中介模型,以阐明问题性短视频使用影响大学生日常记忆失败的作用机制。具体而言,该模型考察了注意控制在问题性短视频使用与日常记忆失败关系中的中介作用以及自我控制的调节作用。研究以486名大学生为被试,完成问题性短视频使用量表、注意控制量表、自我控制量表及日常记忆失败量表。结果表明,注意控制在问题性短视频使用与日常记忆失败之间起部分中介作用;此外,这种中介效应受自我控制的调节,具体表现为自我控制能力较低的个体其间接效应更为显著。研究结果深化了我们对问题性短视频使用如何及在何种条件下导致日常记忆失败的理解。本文还讨论了本研究的局限性及意义。
Abstract: With the popularity of short-form videos, more and more research has focused on the impact of short-form video usage on individual physical and mental health, while its impact on individual cognitive function has not been fully explored. This study established a moderated mediation model to elucidate the mechanism through which short-form video use affects college students’ everyday memory failures. Specifically, the model examined the mediating role of attention control and the moderating role of self-control in the relationship between short-form video use and everyday memory failures. A sample of 486 Chinese college students was recruited to complete questionnaires assessing short-form video use, attention control, self-control, and everyday memory failures. The results indicated that attention control partially mediated the relationship between short-form video use and everyday memory failures. Moreover, the mediating effect was moderated by self-control, such that the indirect effect was stronger among individuals with lower self-control. These findings enhance our understanding of how and under what conditions short-form video use contributes to everyday memory failures. The limitations and implications of this study are also discussed.
