Digital Economy-Enabled Elderly Care: Pathways to High-Quality Development in Response to Population Aging

摘要: 我国已进入深度老龄化社会，传统养老服务体系供需矛盾突出，难以满足老年人高品质养老需求。数字经济为养老服务高质量发展提供新动能。本文分析数字经济赋能养老服务的现实机遇，从数据精准供给、智能设备应用、线上线下融合三方面阐述实现路径。研究发现，当前发展面临老年数字鸿沟、产业协同不足、复合型人才短缺等挑战。据此提出弥合数字鸿沟、强化产业协同、培育专业人才等优化策略，推动数字技术与养老服务深度融合，助力构建优质高效的智慧养老体系，落实积极应对人口老龄化国家战略。

Abstract: China has entered a deeply aging society, and the traditional elderly care service system faces prominent supply-demand contradictions, failing to meet the elderly’s demand for high-quality elderly care. The digital economy provides new momentum for the high-quality development of elderly care services. This paper analyzes the practical opportunities for the digital economy to empower elderly care services and elaborates on the implementation paths from three aspects: data-driven precise supply, application of smart devices, and online-offline integration. The study finds that current development is challenged by the elderly’s digital divide, insufficient industrial coordination, and a shortage of interdisciplinary talents. Accordingly, optimization strategies are proposed to bridge the digital divide, strengthen industrial coordination, and cultivate professional talents, so as to promote the in-depth integration of digital technology and elderly care services, facilitate the construction of a high-quality and efficient smart elderly care system, and implement the national strategy of actively responding to population aging.
