Teaching Strategies for Senior High School English Continuation Writing under the New Curriculum Standards

摘要: 新课标以英语核心素养培育为核心导向，明确要求通过读写结合提升学生综合语言能力，这对高中英语读后续写教学提出了新要求。文章以2025年高考新课标II卷读后续写为实例，探究新课标背景下高中英语读后续写的教学策略，旨在助力一线教师革新传统教学模式、强化学生读写融合能力训练、构建素养导向的多元评价体系，进而提升读后续写教学质量，落实核心素养培育目标。

Abstract: The new curriculum standards prioritize the cultivation of core English competencies and explicitly require the integration of reading and writing to enhance students’ comprehensive language ability. This imposes new demands for the teaching of continuation writing in high school English. Taking the continuation writing section of the 2025 Gaokao New Curriculum Standard II Volume as an example, this article explores teaching strategies for continuation writing under the new curriculum standards. The aim is to assist frontline teachers in innovating traditional teaching models, strengthening students’ integrated reading and writing skills, and establishing a competency-oriented multi-dimensional assessment system, thereby improving the quality of continuation writing teaching and realizing the goal of cultivating core competencies.
