生态翻译学视域下海洋生态保护白皮书英译分析——以《中国的海洋生态环境保护》中濒危海洋生物语料为例

An Analysis of the English Translation of the White Paper on Marine Eco-Environmental Protection from the Perspective of Eco-Translatology—A Case Study of the Corpus on Endangered Marine Species in Marine Eco-Environmental Protection in China

摘要: 生态主题外宣文本不仅传递治理事实，也参与生态价值、责任主体与国家形象的跨语际建构。本文以《中国的海洋生态环境保护》白皮书及其英译文中濒危海洋生物语料为对象，采用目的性抽样，并结合定性细读与小规模平行语料辅助观察，在生态翻译学与生态话语分析融合视角下考察生态意义重构。研究以“三维转换”为框架，将及物性过程、参与者配置、环境成分和生态价值取向纳入语言维、文化维与交际维分析。结果表明，语言维上，译文通过过程类型和参与者重组呈现治理行动与保护责任；文化维上，通过解释性转换、伦理化保留和术语化表达再现自然观和生命观；交际维上，通过主体显化、数据保留和合作叙事提升信息清晰度、科学可信度与传播效果。总体来看，译文具有有益性生态话语特征，能够强化人与海洋和谐共生、尊重非人生命体和推动全球海洋治理合作的价值取向。

Abstract: Eco-themed international publicity texts not only convey governance facts, but also participate in the cross-linguistic construction of ecological values, responsible actors, and national image. Taking the white paper Marine Eco-Environmental Protection in China and its English translation, especially the corpus concerning endangered marine species, as the research object, this study adopts purposive sampling and combines qualitative close reading with small-scale parallel-corpus-assisted observation to examine the reconstruction of ecological meaning from an integrated perspective of eco-translatology and ecological discourse analysis. With the “three-dimensional transformations” as the analytical framework, the study incorporates transitivity processes, participant configuration, circumstantial elements, and ecological value orientation into the linguistic, cultural, and communicative dimensions. The findings show that, in the linguistic dimension, the translation presents governance actions and protection responsibilities through process types and participant restructuring; in the cultural dimension, it reproduces the source text’s views of nature and life through explicative transformation, ethical retention, and terminological rendering; in the communicative dimension, it enhances informational clarity, scientific credibility, and communication effects through subject explicitness, data retention, and cooperative narration. Overall, the translation displays features of beneficial ecological discourse and reinforces the value orientations of harmonious coexistence between humans and the ocean, respect for non-human life, and cooperation in global marine governance.
