《环境地理学》课程教学设计与实践反思
Teaching Design and Practical Reflection on the Course of Environmental Geography
摘要: 全球性环境问题日益凸显。《环境地理学》作为地理学与环境科学交叉的核心课程,在揭示圈层相互作用机理、阐明人地协调路径方面具有重要学科价值。阜阳师范大学地理系在2025版地理科学师范专业培养方案中增设本课程,以“圈层耦合、人地互动”的理念和“总论–分论”的内容体系为指引,融合讲授、探究、案例教学与课堂报告的学习形式,采用“过程性评价 + 终结性评价”的考核机制开展教学。教学实践表明,学生课程论文以区域综合类选题为主,契合地理学综合性特征;课堂报告、作业完成与课堂参与度整体良好,系统思维、学术写作与表达能力得到明显提升。然而,课程仍存在圈层知识割裂、大班全员参与机制不足、论文写作难度偏高、跨圈层融合教学有待深化等问题。本研究可为《环境地理学》课程教学改革与优化提供实践参考。
Abstract: Global environmental challenges have grown increasingly prominent. As a core interdisciplinary course integrating geography and environmental science, Environmental Geography carries vital disciplinary significance in uncovering the mechanisms of interactions among Earth’s spheres and elucidating pathways toward coordinated human-earth development. The Department of Geography at Fuyang Normal University incorporated this course into the 2025 curriculum for its Geography (Teacher Education) program. Grounded in the philosophy of “sphere coupling and human-earth interaction” and structured around a “general-to-specific” framework, the course adopted a blended instructional model combining lectures, inquiry-based learning, case studies and student presentations, alongside a dual assessment system of formative and summative evaluation. Teaching practice demonstrates that students predominantly selected regional and comprehensive topics for their course papers, aligning with the integrative nature of geography; overall performance in presentations, assignment completion and class participation was satisfactory, with marked improvements in students’ systems thinking, academic writing and communicative competence. Nevertheless, several challenges remain, including fragmented understanding of sphere-specific knowledge, inadequate mechanisms for full student engagement in large classes, excessive difficulty in thesis writing for first-year undergraduates, and insufficient integration across Earth’s spheres in instructional delivery. This study provides practical insights for the reform and optimization of Environmental Geography teaching and learning.
