Architectural Choices and Evolutionary Logic in the Management of University Student Organizations—An Analysis Based on Organizational Theory
Abstract: University student organizations generally encounter a structural dilemma of “rigid functions” and “loose projects”. This study, from the perspective of Organizational Contingency Theory, analyzed the applicable conditions, inherent contradictions, and evolution logic of three organizational structure types - functional system, project system, and matrix system - in student organizations. The research found that the effectiveness of the organizational structure depends on the structural matching of factors such as organizational size, business type, and the stage of members’ ability development. Its evolution follows the basic logic of “structure - capability - environment” collaborative adaptation. The research provides a theoretical basis and practical references for the structure design and dynamic adjustment of university student organizations.
