Research on Supplier Quality Optimization Strategy Based on FAI Management

摘要: 在制造业供应链精细化管控背景下，供应商零部件质量是终端产品品质的核心源头，首件检验(First Article Inspection, FAI)作为供应商批量生产前的关键质量核验手段，对规避批量质量缺陷、降低供应链质量成本、稳定产品交付品质具有不可替代的作用。本文立足于供应商质量管理痛点，系统阐述FAI的核心内涵与实施逻辑，分析当前供应商FAI执行过程中存在的标准不统一、流程不规范、追溯体系缺失等问题，结合供应链质量管理实战经验，提出标准化FAI流程、完善审核机制、搭建数字化管控体系、强化供需协同等优化策略，为制造企业提升供应商质量管控能力、构建稳健的供应链质量体系提供理论参考与实践支撑。

Abstract: Against the backdrop of refined management and control in the manufacturing supply chain, the quality of components supplied by vendors is the core source of end-product quality. As a critical quality verification method prior to suppliers’ mass production, First Article Inspection (FAI) plays an irreplaceable role in avoiding batch quality defects, cutting supply chain quality costs and stabilizing product delivery quality. Starting from the pain points of supplier quality management, this paper systematically elaborates on the core connotation and implementation logic of FAI, and analyzes prevailing problems in the execution of supplier FAI, including inconsistent standards, non-standardized procedures and incomplete traceability systems. Combined with practical experience in supply chain quality management, it puts forward optimization strategies such as standardizing FAI procedures, improving review mechanisms, building a digital management and control system, and strengthening collaboration between purchasers and suppliers. This study provides theoretical reference and practical support for manufacturing enterprises to enhance supplier quality management capabilities and establish a robust supply chain quality system.
